: Records of the Manpower Utilization and Development project, 1964-1966, conducted by
the Division of Children and Youth. The project's goal was to develop and test an
administrative model for deployment of social work personnel to make the best use of
staffing levels. Records include organizational material on the grant project including
applications, correspondence, and meeting minutes. There are also research materials
which extensively document the social work case system and foster care. A small amount
of information related to the Care and Treatment Needs of Children study is also
included.
