Scope and Content Note: Included are audits of Limited English Proficient services (primarily focused on the Hmong) and of Maximus, a private company administering funds for the state's W-2 program. Civil Rights Compliance monitoring of regional Private Industry Councils (PICs), private companies which offer training and work for those qualified for Workforce Solutions assistance, document the Division's responsibility to ensure that PICs and their sub-contractors follow Federal Civil Rights laws and regulations and the region's workforce development board. Complaint files (arranged either by name or by case number) cover client difficulty with PICs, contracts, discrimination, Affirmative Action, and social service providers. Files contain letters of complaint, responses, and in many cases court transcripts, legal documents, and legal decisions.
