: Files pertaining to a study conducted by Lieutenant Governor McCallum about all existing state boards, commissions, and councils in order to eliminate those that had fulfilled their function. Included is the final report, “Wisconsin Evaluation Study Report,” issued in 1997; reports, data, occasional minutes, and other background policy information submitted by each agency, circa 1993-1995; and correspondence from citizens generally opposing the dissolution of particular boards. Background for the report includes additional correspondence, testimony presented at public hearings, and notes pertaining to revision of the statutes by the Legislative Reference Bureau. The videotape was presented as background material by the Council on Mental Health.
