Scope and Content Note: Reports, petitions, correspondence, investigation files, exhibits, materials, and case transcript pertaining to the public hearing before the Board of Regents of State Colleges regarding a request by Mr. and Mrs. Parmer for advance in rank and merit increase in salary which was opposed due to libelous statements to the media and surrounding states about president Verne Fryklund of Stout State College. Materials date from 1950 but the proceedings began in 1958 and lasted into 1959.
