Arrangement of the Materials

The files are arranged by case number order with the prefix CA, in two overlapping sequences which represent portions of the collection processed at different times. The older container list describes boxes 1-253 and contains CA 1-CA 5290. The newer list describes boxes 254-296 and contains CA 4759-CA 5620. This series also contains formal construction case papers formerly located in Series 1265, Formal Case Papers, Public Utilities. These are segregated at the end of this container list in boxes 289-296. They are in case number order and are identified by a PSC alphanumeric system which does not use the CA prefix.
