Access Restrictions

There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all members of the public in accordance with state law.


Use Restrictions

The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel, privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin Statutes 19.21-19.39).


Acquisition Information

Maria McIntyre, Loren McIntyre's daughter-in-law, donated the collection in Decemeber 2019 after contacting the American Geographic Society Libray in Milwaukee directly.


Processing Information

Shiraz Bhathena processed the collection from 2023-2024. Electronic records were taken from 5" and 3 1/4" floppy disks in McIntyre's collection. The 5" files were native to the Kaypro computer system, and were transferred to Windows XP in the UWM History Department, before being transferred to the shared file drive and appraised. All negatives were resleeved, while slides were kept in boxes. Films were wound onto archival cores and kept in archival cans.
