Biography/History

The Joint Committee on Finance is a statutory committee responsible for review of all bills introduced into the Wisconsin Legislature which appropriate funds or provide for revenue to the state through taxation or other means. Over the years the responsibilities of the committee has changed, but a major part of its function concerns review and revision of the biennial budget.
