Annual reports list name of school; district number; town or village; dates covered; teachers name, address, and salary; and name, gender, age, grade, attendance of student, and number of days transported and by whom. The student information also includes subjects studied; grades; and if they were promoted or graduated. Earlier reports may also include teacher remarks to the superintendent; the textbooks used; daily schedule; statistics; value of school equipment; number of trees on the property; and cost of tuition.
The 1943-1944 school year reports are missing. In addition, Shioctin schools may be listed under the Town of Bovina or Shioctin. Buchanan schools may sometimes be found under the Town of Kimberly.
