Records collected by Raymond J. Miller, former president of the Village of Greendale, concerning the development of Greendale, Wisconsin, one of three Greenbelt towns constructed by the U.S. Resettlement Administration. Included are plans of the town, histories of its planning, photocopy of a scrapbook of news clippings and press releases, pamphlets advertising the town, and community newsletters. The photographs and negatives document the early history of Greendale. Included are images of recreational activities, parades, celebrations, public buildings, business, schools, utilities, and maintenance vehicles.
