Suzanne (Youle) Jeskewitz was born in Galesville, Wisconsin, on February 21, 1942.
She graduated from Gale-Ettrick High School, Galesville, Wisconsin, and received her
B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 1964. In 1965 she
married James Jeskewitz of Menominee Falls; they have two children and four
grandchildren. She served in the Wisconsin State Legislature as a representative
(Republican) for the 24th Assembly District from 1996 until her retirement in 2009.
Before serving as a legislator, Jeskewitz was a bank public relations
representative, a teacher, a YMCA director, an associate director of Menominee Falls
Chamber of Commerce, and a real estate broker.
As a representative in the Wisconsin State Legislature, Jeskewitz served on many
committees including Joint Committee on Audit, Joint Committee on Retirement
Systems, Children and Family Law, Colleges and Universities, Ways and Means,
Children and Families, Criminal Justice and Homeland Security, Financial
Institutions, Consumer Affairs, Government Operations, Mandates, Criminal Justice
and Corrections, Wisconsin Works Oversight, and the Legislative Council Commission
on State Strategies for Economic Development.
