This collection contains records from the City of Milwaukee’s 9th District Alderman,
Robert W. Puente. The bulk of the records date from his Aldermanic tenure,
2004-2016, although some have been retained from his predecessor, Donald F.
Richards. The original subject headings from aldermanic staff have been kept intact
as much as possible. This collection includes reports, statistics, publications,
correspondence, ordinance drafts/copies, newspaper clippings and articles. Some of
the subjects include materials regarding the North West Side Comprehensive Plan,
annual town hall meetings he hosted, the local flooding in 2010, Milwaukee’s
redistricting plans and election laws. There are also several folders on a local
property/night club on W. Bradley St that he was often involved with as the area’s
alderman.
