Biography/History

Larraine McNamara-McGraw earned a B.A. from Marquette University in 1971 with a major in History & Theology and a minor in Philosophy. She worked for Milwaukee East Organizations Congress, Inc. from 1974-1976. She went on to earn her J.D. from Marquette University Law School, graduating in 1982. She worked as a public defender for the State of Wisconsin from 1982-1989. In May of 1989 she was elected Alderwoman for Milwaukee’s District 3. She continued to be re-elected until 1996. In 1997 she began her own law practice. In 2021 she joined Horizon Law Group, LLC.
