The collection spans the years 1873-1974 and contains records, mainly volumes, of the Caersalem congregation (1873-1925) as well as the Horeb Church and the United Presbyterian Church of Wild Rose (1907-1974). The front of each volume lists the types of records, with page numbers, contained in each volume. Portions of the records are in Welsh.
The Caersalem Church records contain birth, baptismal, confirmation, marriage, death, and financial records, as well as records of new members and the members leaving the congregation. Also included are minutes of congregation meetings, 1917-1924.
Horeb/United Presbyterian Church records contain a history of the congregation, 1910-1960, Sessions records, 1907-1974, Trustees records, 1908-1971 and some miscellaneous papers. The Sessions records include minutes of monthly congregation meetings and birth, death, baptism, confirmation, and membership records. The Trustees records contain financial records for the building of the Church in 1910 and minutes of trustees meetings. Miscellaneous records consist of a historical sketch on Presbyterianism, a few annual reports of the congregation, and a financial summary of receipts and disbursements by year, 1907-1970.
