Papers, 1968-2006 (bulk 1977, 1981-1985, 2004-2006), of Michael O'Brien, a historian born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, primarily containing audio cassettes of interviews conducted by O'Brien for research on his books McCarthy and McCarthyism in Wisconsin (1980), Vince: A Personal Biography of Vince Lombardi (1987), and Exxon and the Crandon Mine Controversy (2008). Interviews with O'Brien's family members and with Lloyd Pratsch, a Wisconsin court reporter during the late 1930s and early 1940s, are also present. Also includes O’Brien's research notes on his book Exxon and the Crandon Mine Controversy.
All audiotapes are cassettes unless otherwise noted.
