Papers of David L. Brye, collected while he ran for congress of the 32nd District of Wisconsin and served as a 1968 Presidential Primary delegate for the state of Wisconsin. Brye's research includes state election data, political publicity consisting of congressional and gubernatorial campaign literature, news clippings, and flyers. Brye's papers primarily center on his service as a 1968 Third District Democratic Delegate for the Presidential Primary including the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Brye also compiled research on the 1972 presidential campaigns of Hubert H. Humphrey and George McGovern and 1968 Wisconsin gubernatorial campaigns of Bronson La Follette, Gaylord Nelson and Pat Lucey. English
