Diaries and transcripts of William Bramwell Sizer that detail his life as a Milwaukee police officer and a husband in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The early diaries describe Sizer's early career as a police officer which began in 1889 and include police calls and court appearances describing the types of petty crimes that occurred in late nineteenth and early twentieth century Milwaukee. Sizer's later diaries primarily record the weather and his daily activities at home. Also included are his obituary, letters, and clippings that detail Sizer's career and a family genealogy. English
