This collection contains 4 episodes from the hour-long Western series Bearcats! which aired on CBS in 1971. The show told the story of Hank Brackett (Rod Taylor)-a former U.S. Cavalary officer-and Johnny Reach (Dennis Cole). Together they acted as troubleshooters in the American West in 1914, travelling in a Stutz Bearcat.
While a total of 13 episodes of Bearcats! aired over its half-season run, this collection contains only 4 of the original episodes. Some reels are in color and some are black-and-white; all are 16 mm prints with sound. Each reel runs approximately 30 minutes. The visual quality of the color prints is very good overall except for one reel that is faded to pink. The black-and-white reels appear to be copied from the color originals and are of lower quality.
