The Historical Society received copies of these taped interviews from Beloit College via
Professor Robert Irrmann on March 2, 1977. The tapes were accompanied by the descriptive
materials which follow this page. First come summaries of the topics discussed in each
person's interviews. These are followed by abstracts of the interviews themselves. The
abstracts list, in order of discussion, the topics covered in each interview, and indicate
the times at which point the discussion begins and ends. Tape 8 and 18 were never received
in the Archives.
The numbering of the tapes, sides, and parts correlates to the original recordings rather
than to these copies. However, because the content notes are keyed to these numbers, the
numbering system has been retained.
