Most individuals have specific folders for correspondence, pleadings and motions, briefs, affidavits, stipulations and discovery, orders, opinions, among other related materials. Some individuals have just one folder with all of their related records. Records are organized by last name of the petitioner, with general litigation summaries in Box 1; box 9 is made up of correspondence with post-conviction defense project staff attorneys as well as general correspondence and statistics records.
