The Wisconsin Visual Artists (WVA) was founded in
October 1900 as the Society of Milwaukee Artists. Their mission was to promote the
welfare of Wisconsin art and artists by creating exhibitions across Wisconsin and
the United States. This collection contains a variety of administrative, membership,
exhibition, financial, marketing and promotional materials from the Wisconsin Visual
Artists organization from its beginning to current day.
