Henry Weber (1853-1927) was a prominent Milwaukee businessman who was also active in
Democratic politics. Weber ran a restaurant located on East Water Street called
Weber & Stuber. It was known as a rendezvous for politicians and other notable
Milwaukeeans. Additionally, Weber served multiple terms as President of the Board of
Park Commissioners and was part of the delegation sent to Washington to lobby for
Milwaukee as the location for the 1896 Democratic National Convention.
