This collection contains material relating to the Uihlein family, particularly August
Uihlein and Robert Uihlein. Includes August’s diaries and notebooks, as well as his
account books relating to the Schlitz Brewery. Much of Robert’s materials are his
schoolwork from the early 1900s. The photographs and negatives are of family
members, mostly on vacation, either on family property or visits elsewhere. Most of
the individuals are unidentified. There is also the passport of August Krug, various
biographies, family trees, and other materials relating to the family’s history.
