These programs cover the events and performances of the UW-Madison's School of Music between 1957 and 2018. This includes the wind ensemble, symphonic band, university and concert bands, chamber singers, Madrigal Singers, Masters Singers, chorale, concert choir, University Chorus, women's choir, seasonal concerts, and summer programs. These programs are arranged in chronological order based on performance date and time. The programs contain information regarding the conductor's name, musical numbers performed, performer's names, and the names of the instrumental faculty, band faculty, and staff. In this collection, the type and frequency of performances remained consistent each year starting in February 1980. As a collection, they document the trends of music selection over this time span while they highlight regular programing and events as sponsored and supported by the UW-Madison School of Music.
