This collection donated by Rural Sociology Pressor Glen Fuguitt, documents the history and operations of the Department of Rural Sociology, the Senior Rural Sociology Interest Group, and the Department of Sociology between the years 1936-2002. The materials include internal reports, meeting minutes, portfolios, discussion on class sizes, requirements, teaching awards and correspondences, regarding the Department of Sociology and the Department of Rural Sociology. The collection also includes a comprehensive program review for the Department of Rural Sociology and email lists and by-laws for the Senior Rural Sociology Interest Group. The bulk of the Department of Sociology and Department of Rural Sociology spans from 1985-1992 and the Rural Sociological Society materials are from 1936-1938.
