This collection contains materials created between 1916 and 2012. It primarily consists of
photographs and negatives of the Pro Arte Quartet's various members and configurations over
the years, Germain Prévost's music programs, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Music
programs, newspaper clippings on members such as Germain Prévost and Rudolph Kolisch, press
releases, Wisconsin Idea magazines from 1952 containing articles on Kolisch and the Pro Arte
Quartet, materials created for the centennial anniversary of the Pro Arte Quartet, audio
recordings on cassette and compact disc, and miscellaneous ephemera.
