The collection contains correspondence, photographs, research materials, writings, and
newspaper clippings. Most of these materials relate to her time as a doctoral student at the
French House at UW-Madison. It also contains significant files on the age and sex
discrimination lawsuit that Witherell brought to and won at UW-Green Bay.
