The Campus Diversity Initiative records are arranged partially according to their original
order from the transferring institutions and partially by order imposed at the time of
processing. The first two accessions, 1992/060 and 1993/057 were partially in order when the
UW-Archives took custody of them. These accessions have been interfiled and together
comprise boxes 1 and 2 in the final arrangement. Where possible this order has been
preserved. At this time there were also a number of loose documents, those have been
rehoused and labeled by the processor. Original file titles and file contents are interfiled
alphabetically with those files created during processing.
In addition, boxes 3 and 4 were originally part of accession 2009/060 which was part of the
personal papers of Professor Bernice Durand. The order of these documents was wholly imposed
at the time of processing and they are arranged alphabetically by file title.
