1880-1894 : The ledger lists income and expenses for Hendrick. Expenses include payments
to laborers and purchases for livestock and farm supplies. Income came from
the sale of produce from the farm including beef, calves, hides, hogs,
horses, eggs, butter, cream, corn, tobacco, seed, wheat, and other
products.

1875-1885 : Contains a single notebook used as a ledger to track expenses. The entries
give very brief, mostly one or two word descriptions of the expense, date,
and amount. The cover has the names Mrs. Hornbach and Geo. Brumder written
on it. According the first page dated 4 May 1875, Hornbach’s interest in
Hornbach & Wagner were sold to J. Wagner for $17,500.
