The Archer Family papers (1812-1936) contain writings, correspondence, diary entries, and clippings preserved by members of the Archer family. The collection contains contributions from Rev. William John Bellew Archer and his three daughters: Lavinia, Marcella, and Tryphenia. Marcella is noted for having written "Ireland's True Daughter: A Novel" in 1881 and many shorter pieces in various journals and magazines. Her sister, Tryphenia, also wrote a number of poems and stories. English
