Biography/History

Reverend Eugene Boutilier of the Racine Urban Ministry served as temporary program director from July to August of 1976. In August of 1976 Joyce Fite Hamlin was appointed permanent director. Ms. Hamlin's primary function as the program director was to monitor each student's progress within the various agencies and to give students direction when the need arose along with faculty and staff advisors. Prior to coming to Parkside, Ms. Hamlin was administrative coordinator for the National Council for Black Child Development in Washington, DC.
