The Bruce Bollerud Collection is housed in seven archival boxes and one oversize folder,
arranged in three series. Series are designated for music materials, papers, and sound
recordings. Materials include manuscripts of individual original songs and folios, song
lyrics, sound recordings in a variety of formats, newspaper clippings, correspondence, gig
contracts, recording contracts, royalty statements, manuscript books, and framed items. This
collection provides researchers with a body of material for studying Bruce Bollerud, music
arranging, rehearsal, performance, and the old-time music scene in Wisconsin from the
1960s-2000s from the perspective of a gigging musician.
