Jones Girls Investment Club was founded in 1976. A group of women in started it to learn
how to invest in the stock market. With the help of National Association of Investment Club
(NAIC) guidelines, they were able to keep the club going until 2020. They held monthly
meetings to discuss investment strategies and held officer elections when the time came. The
first decade the Jones Girls thrived, the second was more turbulent, but by 2010 things
started to look up. The club came to an end in 2020.
