The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Washington County, is located in West Bend,
WI and was formerly known as the University of Wisconsin-Washington County. The land
was purchased from local farmer Carl Pick in 1965 and broke ground in 1967. Classes
were first held at the university in September, 1968. In 2018, the college became a
regional campus of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
