Consisting of administrative files, minutes, newspapers, fundraising materials, grant
files, and photographs, the records largely document Voces de la Frontera's efforts
in promoting immigration reform, education and youth organization, workers' rights,
civil rights, legalization and citizenship, as well as assistance with voting and
drivers' licenses. Some records of Voces de la Frontera's coalition work are also
included.
The minutes are arranged by date and cover various committees and meetings. The grant
files consist of funded grants and are arranged by application name and date. These
files may contain letters of inquiry, application forms, follow-up correspondence,
and final reports. The photographs mainly depict marches, rallies, and meetings.
Records document immigration (e.g., Arizona SB 1070 and DREAM Act), education, and
health care reform, as well as anti-war, drivers' licenses, and workers' rights
(e.g., Palermo's Pizza).
