After the UWM Chapter of SWEA disbanded in 2016, the scrapbooks and other
administrative records of the organization were held in custody by the UWM
School of Education Office of Student Services.
Robert Longwell-Grice donated the materials (accession 2016-013) to the Archives
on behalf of the UWM School of Education.
Alison Sielaff processed accession 2016-013 during Winter 2017 (Brad Houston
supervised).
Alison Sielaff disassembled the scrapbooks as part of processing. The pages were
moved to acid-free folders in the order in which they appeared in the original
scrapbooks.
CDs found in the Urban Teacher World folder were separated and migrated to
storage on Archives department servers during processing.
