inufacturing facilities in the United
tes. California Architects, John A. Blume
6,ssociates, designed the Burlington plant
ease of expansion. Nelson, a general
itractor from Racine, Wisconsin, con-
icted it in 16 months, The grand opening
'emonies were held in August of 1966.
stl6's Burlington facility employs approxi-
ately 500 employees and produces a
riety of chocolate products, including
:h popular brand names as Nestl6
iocolate Quik®, Toll House® Semi-Sweet
)rsels®, Fun-Size Nestl6 Crunch®, 100
Grands, Oh Henry!®, Raisinets®, GoobersO,
Nestl6 Buncha Crunch" and a variety of
Bulk Chocolates and Ice Cream Bar
Coatings. The plant is one of the most pro-
gressive Nestl6 manufacturing facilities in
the U.S. and reflects the pride and quality
consciousness of its employees.
In addition to producing quality, great tast-
ing chocolate, Nestl6 Burlington works with
the city each year to plan the Chocolate
City Festival. Thousands of people take part
in the festivities from throughout Wisconsin
and the surrounding states. Together, we all
share in one of America's favorite taste
bud tantalizers - - CHOCOLATE!
