Eau Claire 13th June in '82 Dear Sister! I must once more take my simple pen and send you a few lines. I am living so well and hearty, and nothing do I lack and the same I wish to hear from you and Mher. It is awhile ago since I wrote you but have received nothing for a long time but nevertheless I hope that you are in the best of health. As far as news is concerned there is nothing other than that Olaug A. Lillebordal is married to a man from Rennebo* and my cousin Gurra Andersdatter is also going to get married to Anders Nilson Senn. Thorval T. Hoff is here in Eau Claire and working, and his brother Ole is also here. I wrote a letter to you about whether you wanted to come here to America in case i should send you tickets; and I have waited long for an answer but have received nothing. If you wan to come then you must advise me about it so that I can send you tickets. If you want to come then I will ask that you be a good and well-behaved girl, making diligent use of the Book and preparing yourself well for Confirmation if you are studying for that. Write me and inform me about you accopmlishments and also your exact age and how you live and in what circumstances. Dear Sister, write to me and tell me if you wish to come and then I will write to you. Live well and greet Mother - that I am healthy and well.
