1vjLr. Unarles Ai. akDDOtt
was born in the town of
Freedom, Outagamie
county, Wis., in 1845. He
was a soldier in the war
of the Rebellion, and
served two years in Com-
pany I, 32d Regiment,
Wisconsin infantry. He
was married to Miss Mary
A. Izzard in 1869; she
was born in 1848. Their
children are: Gertie Ab-
bott Stevenson, born in
1870; Willard Abbott,
born in 1877; Orlow Ab-
bott, born in 1878. Resi-
dencep on ection" 1 K~ ton-
C. A. ABBOTT AND WIFE.  21, range 17, in Grand
Chute.
Eland B. Abbott, father of Charles A. Abbott, was born
in Connecticut in 1812, and died in 1874. He came to Out-
agamie county in 1843, and located on section 11, town 22,
range 18, in the town of Freedom. He was a soldier in
the war of the Rebellion and served one year. His wife,
Ellen Webster Abbott, was born in New York in 1815 and
died in 1886. They have had thirteen children, seven boys
and six girls; three boys and two girls are now living.

Was born in 1852 and came to Outagamie county in 1861.
