are all that is left of the family, how does Ruth and hustband get along, well I do not know as I have much more to say this time, so i will send my love to Mother, tell her she is still remembered and though we meet not again here, we will hope to meet in heaven, but with you there is a feeling that we shall yet meet again. It may not prove so, but there is comfrot in the thought, and it affords me joy in many a lonely hour. I cannot forget brother Adams promise to visit us sometime, and this is the secret of my hope. Smead joins with mein sending love and good wishes to you and yours Write soon LA Hastings
