Manitowoc, Wis., Aug. 28, 18M4.
On this day at the office of Nash & Nash in the city of
Manitowoc, Wisconsin, the directors of The Hamilton Manufacturing
Company met for the purpose of transacting business. J. E. Hamilton
president, present and presiding; W. D. Richards and L. J. Nash
being also present.
The President presents a contract which he proposes as a
suitable one to be entered into by the Hamilton Company with H. T.
Caslon & Company of 22 & 23 Chiswell Street, London, England. The
directors carefully consider the said contract, and thereupon it
was unanimously voted that the same be approved, and that the Presi-
dent and Secretary be authorized to enter into the same and subscribs
the corporate name thereto, and that the President or Secretary be,
and they or either of them hereby are or is, empowered tonaffix to
said contract an impression of the corporate seal.
Minutes of this meeting read and approved.
Voted that this meeting do now adjourn sine die.

On this day at three o'clock P. M1. the Directors of The
Hamilton 1anufacturinc Company met at the office of rash & Nash in
the city of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, for the purpose of transacting
corporate business. James E. Hamilton, President, present and
presiding. Lyman J. Nash, Secretary, present. W. D. Richards,
the other director, being at the present time out of the state.
The following resolition offered by L.J.Nash was adopted:
THEREAS, a 20 dividend upon all the stock now outstanding
issued by said Company will amount to $8287.50, and it is reported
to this Board by J. E. Hamilton, President and Treasurer, that there
is enough cash on hand at the present time, over and above what may
be needed for business and current expenses, to pay a dividend of
that amount; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that there be, and that there hereby is,
declared a dividend upon all the stock of said Company to the
several owners thereof of 205 of suc stock.
