 This is the first letter I have
dated '59. So I will commence by wishing you
my very dear Friend a Happy New Year! I am truly
glad that the past year has been to you a year
of restoration to health and strength, though at
its commencement it was _______ expected that
you would see many of its weeks, or perhaps I
should say days, may this year be one to you
