Moved and seconded that phone rent for the ensuring year be $5 per instrument. Carried. It was moved and seconded that 2 cents be charged for each connection through Central. Carried. Moved and seconded that said motion be reconsidered. A vote was then taken to get connection through Central at 1 cents per call, which was lost. The proposition of the Burlington, Rochester and Kansasville Telephone Company was discussed. It was moved and seconded not to accept their proposition now at present. Carried. Moved and seconded to adjourn. J. E. Jacobson, Secretary of Wind Lake Telephone Company Directors Met at Otto E. Schmidt's, March 25, 1905 Meeting called to order by the Chairman. All directors present. 0. E. Schmidt was elected Chairman of the meeting and B. J. Bendickson elected clerk. Meeting then proceeded to election of officers. The following named were duly elected: Otto E. Schmidt, President; B. J. Bendickson, Secretary, General Manager and Treasurer. Moved and seconded that the wire rent and 2 cents calls be collected July 1 and January 1. Moved and seconded that the manager and secretary get the necessary printing done, such as tablets and receipts. Carried. Moved and seconded that the seven first phones be taken off the North Cape line and put on the Kansasville line. Moved and seconded that those on the Waterford line be taken off north of Waterford and put on the south line. Moved and seconded that all bills and accounts against the Company must be examined and looked over by the Directors. Moved and seconded that the lighting arresters be put on every phone and charged to Company. Moved and seconded that 0. E. Schmidt make arrangements with Central for the coming year.
