Moved and seconded to elect secretary results of informal ballot. There were seventy-four votes cast of which number J. E. Jacobson received sixty-five, Chas. Apple seven, Albert Anderson two, informal ballot be declared formal and J. E. Jacobson having majority of the number of votes cast was declared elected. Results of ballots cast for Treasurer. There were seventy-nine votes cast of which number B. J. Bendickson received thirty-nine, Hans Finholth twenty-five, Chas. Apple two, Christ Bensene two, Albert Anderson one, Chas. Apple declined in favor of B. J. Bendickson and Mr. B. J. Bendickson declared elected for Treasurer. On motion the following named gentlemen were duly elected directors of the Wind Lake Telephone Company, Christ Bensene, Chairman; H. J. Ellertson, Chas. Apple, Chas. Stalbaum and Dr. Moyle. It was moved and seconded that company charge $5 per box wire rent the ensuring year and company to keep instrument (telephone) in repair. Moved and seconded that all toll taken in by box owner be turned over to company, and toll collected hereafter to be divided one- half to be retained by owner. Moved and seconded that the board of directors frame bylaws and constitution of Wind Lake Telephone Co. and former committee on rules and bylaws be discharged. Motion made and seconded to adjourn. J. 0. Jacobson, Secretary Meeting of Directors, March 1. 1903 Meeting of Directors of Wind Lake Telephone Company held at Jacobson schoolhouse the 1st day of March, 1903. Meeting called to order by Chairman Bensene. Directors Moyle and Stalbaum absent. The directors present elected the President, Secretary, Treasurer as directors. Mr. Finholth bill of $33.25 came up for services for the past year and allowed. Moved and seconded that central be moved from Coates to some other satisfactory place. 9
