one-fiftli of the staves broken and the rest not lit for a
tul). Block and(l brick l)oxes with boar(ds off and split clear
down the sides. Iimbur- with paper anl(l parcltlnent gone
to pieces and the tin-foil a mnere powder. Gentlemen dto
YOU beleive that cheeste packed in packages like this can
compete in the cheese markets of the world? If You do, you
are badly mistaken. There is hut one thing to (lo in this
matter and that is to stand together an(l fight against these
evils that are undermnining- our great industry. Do not leave
this matter to the members of this association to do. For
the future prosperity of pure dairy and agricultural industry
depen(ls entirely upoii our successful elimination of these
great evils. As an association We Call have no objection to
the sale of this cheap material, hut we must protest and
protest vigorously against its use in an industry upon which
depends the future prosperity and happiness of every man,
woman and child in Southern Wisconsin. The last ten to
twenty years more people in Southern Wisconsin have pro-
vide(l for a comfortable old age thru the dairy husinLss than
all other interest colfll)ined. Shall we keel) it so?
