In this section are identified and listed those entries
for residential locations, places of business and commercial
acreage as listed on the maps of the six wards for the City
of Oshkosh as shown in the original volume.       Entries for
names concerning divisions, sub-divisions, re-plats, etc.
have not been included in this index.
The first entry on each line of this section is the
name of the individual or company identified.      The second
entry is an abbreviation for the type of entry. The third
entry on each line is the number of the ward where the name
and location are found.
Types of entry are abbreviated as such:

Most of the entries in this section will already be
found listed in the index for history and personal sketches.
This section of the index has been included mainly to
satisfy the curiosity of researchers.
