April 10, 1944
On this day at the hour of three o'clockPM, the
Board of Directors of Hamilton anufacturing Company met in
the office of the company in the City of Two Rivers Wisconsin,
pursuant to waiver of notice on file.
The meeting was called to order by E. P. Hamilton,
president; W. G. Dickson, secretary, present and acting as such.
Roll call of directors showed the following present in person:
E. P. Hamil
H. G. Evans
A. L. 1ash
W. G. Dickson
The president reviewed the Kev.ol. utiuri'     >.o
past year with reference to the Government's taking over the
Vista del Arroyo Hotel during 1943 and the subseauent efforts
to secure as high ap rice as possible for the General Mortgage
bonds of the La Viste Hotel Cornorntion, Linited, which bonds
were owned by American Medical Buildings Company, Limited,
and pledged to Hamilton Manufacturing Company; he further
stated that the best offer obtainble for the landbuildings
and personal property owned by the hotel was $650,000 with
the result that after deduction of the amount necessary to
pay prior liens and exenses in connection with the condem-
nation action, it appeared the holders of General MortP.e
bonds would receive approximately 21 on the dollar for
