Telegrams and Cablegrams by Telephone. Arrangements have been made with the Western Union Tele- graph Company under which subscribers of the Wisconsin Tele- phone Company may transmit by telephone to Western Union Offices telegrams and cablegrams destined to any part of the world, but the Wisconsin Telephone Company does not assume any responsibility for errors in transmission. To expedite the service, a subscriber desiring to transmit a telegram or cablegram, may call "Telegram" and, unless otherwise directed, the tele- phone operator will connect him with a receiving station of the Western Union Telegraph Company. The tolls for telegrams and cablegrams so transmitted will be charged to the subscriber. To facilitate the delivery of telegrams, the Western Union Company, when desired, will deliver messages to telephone sub- scribers by telephone instead of by messenger. The sender of the telegram may indicate that he desires such delivery by omit- ting the street address and substituting therefor the telephone number of the subscriber addressed.
