LIVESTOCK IMlPROVEMENT - Bangls Testing continued. - Two Herd Improvement Associations in operation. - Livestock Breeders Association organized. - Better Bull Program started. - Publicity on dairy products. anals Testin Proram Bangls testing has been continued in the County during the past year under the present Government Program. The indemnity that is now being paid of $25.00 is still in effect. The additional indemnity' that is being paid by the state is available to only counties that have secured sufficient sign- ers for the area test. There are at the present time 755 cattle owners who are test- ing under the Federal Program. 156 of these persons now have cer- tified herds. So fare according to the best figures available, $53,825.00 have been paid cattle owners in this County as indemnity for cat- tle that have reacted.
