BUILDING PROGRAM The Waterford High School expansion project is being built by Sherrer, the general contractor. Heating and ventilation is being done by Reineman's of Burlington, plumb- ing by Advanced Plumbing of Racine, electric by Mitzen of Racine, kitchen equipment by St. Paul Bar and Restaurant Company of St. Paul, Minnesota. The architects were Durrant and Berquiist of Dubuque, Iowa. The expansion will cost approximately $730, 000 adding nineteen new rooms and about 45, 000 square feet of facilities bringing to a total of about 95, 000 square feet. The two story addition on Field Drive, to be completed by March 1, will contain thir- teen rooms, five of which will be science, one for math, four for English, a new art room, a reading room and a language library. This language library will be used for the oral method of teaching and will consist of a number of booths and a console desk. All the booths will be controlled from the desk. Each student will be housed in a booth and will be taught a foreign language by the use of tape recorders. In the addition, the subjects will be grouped according to subject area, such as all sciences, all maths, etc., in one area.
