No. 1. Whereas, we believe it is for the best interest
and for the reputation of the makers of good whey butter
that the tubs and other packages in which it is shipped
to market be clean and neat in appearance, therefore, we
recommend, that hereafter no whey butter be packed for
sale or shipment in tubs that have been formerly used.
No. 2. Resolved, that we deem it in the line of clean
sanitary practice that all cheese and butter be packed in
new well made packages and be hauled for shipment from
factories on wagons that are clean and free from taint or
No. 3. Resolved, that we are in favor of a County
Agricultural and Dairy School for Green County, under the
provisions of the State law and request that the County
Board of Supervisors provide for such school its next
No. 4. Resolved, that it is for the interests of dairy-
men, cheesemakers, and dealers that statements published
stating the earnings of cheese factories shall state the net
earnings only, after deducting the wages and all other ex-
ense and that such statements should also state the kind of
cheese, and the month or months in which it was made.
No. 5. Resolved, by the dairymen of Green County, that
we request the repeal of Section 2 of new Section 1492 of the
Revised Statutes enacted under Chapter 542 of the laws of
1909, for the reason that said new section is an unfair and
oppressive restraint of trade and is unreasonable and un-
necessary. That it prohibits under a heavy penalty after
December 1st 1910 the selling and buying of any cow, bull
